What to expect
And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. (Acts 2:42)
Here at Living Hope we are passionate about seeing people become mature in their faith, growing in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, just as the earliest Christians were. So, every Sunday we gather together to encourage one another, build each other up, and to see our whole community stirred up to love and good works.
Following the example of the earliest Christian communities, when we gather together we devote ourselves to the apostles teachings, the fellowship, the breaking of bread and the prayers.
Apostles teachings - A teaching/sermon/presentation/discussion based on the biblical scriptures.
Fellowship - Having time and space to share and connect with one another so that we can meet each others needs emotionally, spiritually and physically.
Breaking of bread - This includes sharing the Lords supper/communion together regularly, but also sharing a meal together and enjoying one another’s company.
The Prayers - Spending time praising, worshiping, celebrating and praying to God as a community.
These four practices guide how we structure our Sunday gatherings and help us to keep focused on the things that are most important. We welcome you to come along and join in anytime.
